You may have heard or guessed by now.....Killa Cutz is quitting the shop as you know it at the end of july.

Sales will continue through the website and you can still order records of course. We will set up a small shop in our basement with a continuous sale of our stock, new 2nd hand collections and new records in small quantities. As said, ordering of records will still be possible in the future, just mail us your lists and we'll try to get the tunes for you. Shipments will be less frequent, so delivery may take a little bit longer sometimes.

Competition from download sites and webshops with very low prices is forcing us to go this direction. We are very sorry, but that's the way things are right now.

Oleg Poliakov - House Moujik (Circus Company)

Altijd een beetje tricky dat gekleurde vinyl: proberen ze nou een drol lekker te maken? Of is het zo'n vette plaat dat hij een mooi kleurtje heeft verdiend? De witte kunststof schijf met de dikke Chicagohouse track genaamd House Moujik van Oleg Poliakov herbergt een klein mysterie, want de titel en artiestnaam doen Russisch aan, maar het gerucht gaat dat hier een Fransman achter zit. Het is in ieder geval uitgebracht op het Franse Circus Company en hij heeft het kleurtje dankzij de clubby house track Midnight Vultures eerlijk verdient.
DJ Gio MC-505: "The music by Oleg Poliakov is a kind of bridge for old and new techno, full of percussions and Chicago vibes. My tune is "Midnight Vultures", for remember the early days of techno. At the end, the only question without answer is about the author: he is coming from cold Russia or from romantic France? It's a mystery :o)"

Jc Freaks - The Rock (Wandering)

Wandering is het nieuwe sublabel van het Duitse house, club, electronica label Mojuba. Op de eerste release worden we getrakteerd op The Rock voortgekomen uit het brein van Anthea van Phonica en Werner Niedermeier aka NoTenshun. Een mooie housy track met een onweerstaanbare funky groove. En dan moet het fluitje nog beginnen! Het klinkt alsof iemand wil fluiten maar zijn lippen niet goed op elkaar kan krijgen, klinkt niet charmant, maar dat is het wel.

COSTA DEL SOUL FESTIVAL
De verdwaalde editie op Blijburg

Duizenden kwaliteitszoekers trekken er zaterdag 5 juli weer massaal op uit, strandspullen in de aanslag, op weg naar bezieling! En niet helemaal onverwacht zal de reis eindigen op Blijburg waar het zomerfestival dit jaar voor de vierde keer zal plaatsvinden. Organisatoren: Blijburg, Vreemd en The Rendez Vous hebben het strand dit jaar omgetoverd tot een onbewoond eiland. Vanaf het middag uur tot diep in de nacht kunnen bezoekers genieten van verschillende bands, live acts en een heleboel dj’s. Ook is er weer een bonte verzameling kunstenaars en performers. Op vier podia een mengelmoes van minimal, techno, disco, house, soul, funk en hiphop.
