Richard Parker & DJ Radar invite Rob Mello of Classic Records fame

Rob Mello Bio
Deze in London wonende House-pionier begon al in 1985 met dj-en en heeft inmiddels booths wereldwijd mogen sieren met zijn sound. Londonse clubs als Plastic People, The End, Herbal en de beruchte club Space op Ibiza zijn ons al voor geweest en op 4 februari is het de beurt aan 11. Naast het draaien heeft Mello ook talloze remixen en producties op zijn naam staan, die je wellicht beter herkent onder een van zijn aliasen ‘House of Whacks’, Loose Bagage of Disco Elements. De sympathieke dj was onder andere mede-oprichter van het pikante House-label ‘Luxury Service’ en de productie van de eerste ‘Black Science Orchestra’ single – ‘Where were you’ (gereleased op het legendarische Londonse label ‘Junior Boys Own’)- kun je ook aan het lijstje toevoegen. In ’99 stortte hij zich op een ander muzikaal front en was hij samen met Matthew Herbert – die het debuut-album van Roisin ‘Moloko’ Murphy produceerde – verantwoordelijk voor de film-muziek van ‘Human Traffic’. Zijn sound: funky en groovy Acid-House
